Aled was born in Maseru, Lesotho and raised overseas until the age of 18. Aled is the youngest of 3. He has been playing soccer since a very early age and would use sport as a way of adapting to new cultures and schools everywhere he moved. Aled came to college in the US and received his bachelors in Movement and Sports studies (Teach preparation) from Springfield College, Springfield,MA. While at Springfield, he played soccer for three years and was a captain his senior year.
Upon graduating Aled took his passion for soccer and creating social change to South Africa where he volunteered with an organization that taught HIV/AIDS education through soccer to youth. This experience solidified in his mind the power of sport. Aled's dream is to continue to use sport to change the lives of people around him.
Aled currently works for buildOn as a Program and Trek coordinator.
